Cytiva is expanding the Xcellerex X-platform portfolio with the addition of 500 L and 2,000 L bioreactors. The X-platform is a single-use system intended for the needs of early-stage clinical researchers all the way through to commercial manufacturing. An infrared-based camera provides detection of foam appearing in the process, allowing for early, automated intervention. Working-height management of exhaust filters and heaters is designed to simplify filter changes and minimize the need for manipulations at height. A rigid base construction ensures installation of the single-use bioreactor bag, minimizing the risk of batch failure.
